RAAF Base Richmond, established in 1923 as an operational air force base - Simply the best.

The RAAF base is a major tourist attraction in the area - especially during air shows.  The October 2007 air show attracted over 100,000 people.

We will lobby strongly to retain our RAAF Base as an operational asset.  We will make this clear in our submissions to the Defence White paper.  NO closure, No sale - keep our base, it keeps us safe.
